37th Pacific Leaders Forum
The Leaders at the 37th Pacific Leaders’ Forum continued with the Forum formal session at 9 o’clock on Wednesday morning.
That morning’s session included a special briefing by the European Union while at the same time a closed session was on for Forum member countries delegation, Forum Observers and special guests only.
Fiji’s newspaper Fiji Times reported the Forum formal closed on that afternoon at 1 o’clock.
On Thursday night there was a dinner hosted by Chairman of the 37th Pacific Islands Forum and Prime Minister of Fiji Laisenia Qarase and Mrs Leba Qarase for the Leaders, their spouses and delegates, at the Grand Ballroom of Sheraton Resort Fiji.
Tuvalu is at the Forum with the presence of Prime Minister Apisai Ielemia, his wife Sikinala Ielemia, Secretaryto Government Panapasi Ielemia and Assistant Secretary in the Department of Foreign Affairs Paani Laupepa.
