Lima Malosi celebrate 21st Birthday
The Lima Malosi Association that is made up of young men and women of Vaitupu island Community on the capital celebrated the association’s 21st Anniversary on Wednesday the 25th of this month.
Reports say that on Wednesday evening members of the association gathered to the Kainaki Falekaupule for the evening devotion.
After a light refreshment, the cake to mark the 21st anniversary of the association was cut.
Reports adds - that the evening was highlighted with local “fatele” and the remaining of the night the group selected their new officer bearers for another team.
Program activities of the 21st anniversary will continue this coming Saturday morning with a tea, to be followed with “te ano” competition just before breakfast.
The program will end on Saturday evening with a dance at the Kainaki Falekaupule.
