2007 appropriation Bill 2006

The 2007 appropriation Bill 2006 is one of the Bills to be introduced in the coming session of Parliament.
According to information received from the Attorney General’s Office- this bill is an act to authorize the appropriation of moneys out of the consolidated fund for the recurrent expenditure for services of the year ending 31st December 2007.
This bill authorizes the appropriation of money from the consolidated fund of Tuvalu in accordance with section 165 of the Constitution of Tuvalu.
This appropriation, amounting to twenty three million ? two hundred ? and sixty five thousand ? nine hundred and ninety three dollars will meet the expenditures by the government for the financial year ending 31st December 2007 as detailed by the National Budget for 2007 to be presented by the Hon Minister of Finance Economic Planning and Industries.
The session of Parliament will be convened on the 27th November to the 6th December 2006.
