Taiwan experts to help Tuvalu ICT

The government of the Republic of China on Taiwan is sending two teams to help our Information, Communication and Technology ICT department.

Reports from the department say the first team will consist of two e-government experts who will come to see the status of the electronic government or e-government of Tuvalu.

E-Government is

The second team will be in the country from the 30 of November to the 7th of December, 2006. They include three technicians who will come to install the 66 new computers which are a donation from the Taiwan government.

During their visit they will conduct a two-day training on basic computer installation, repair and maintenance and how to manage computers.

The department is currently inviting participants to the said training which is to be carried out at the bottom floor of the government building.
