By Semi Malaki

The Coordinator of the Tuvalu Association of Non-Governmental Organizations-TANGO, had returned to the country after attending several meetings in Fiji as well as the Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC) meeting that was held in Noumea.

Ms Annie Homasi was nominated by the Pacific Island Association of Non-governmental Organizations (PIANGO) to represent the organization at this meeting that was conducted by the SPC for one week.

She says the meeting was to review the SPC Health Strategic Plan and most of the participants were from health organizations throughout the region that formed up the reference group.

The consultation team that looked at this strategic plan refers to this group for information from their respective countries.

Ms Homasi further says that her participation at this meeting was fully funded by the Secretariat of the Pacific Community.
