Young man bitten by a shark

A young man is currently in the hospital undergoing treatment after being bitten by a shark over the weekend.
According to a reliable source the young man went on a fishing trip with other youngsters last Saturday when the accident happened in the Funafuti lagoon at a reef close to the vessels’ Papuku and Taivalu’s anchorage.
A shark measuring to more than a metre was reported to have bitten the youngster’s side when another young man tried to pull the shark away. From there the shark swam away but returned again to bite the same young man’s stomach, then quickly swam away again.
The other young men rushed the injured to the hospital where he is now, and reports from the father of the young man, he is doing okay.
