Aircraft Convair did not come

The aircraft of the airline of the Fiji Islands which recently served the Fiji Funafuti route has been facing mechanical problems.
The Convair did not fulfill its flight to Funafuti yesterday.
Agent of the airline on Funafuti Semu Tafaki confirmed that this is due to mechanical faults.
About 12 passengers were not able to make it to Fiji yesterday, and reports from the travel office said they are mostly foreigners.
On the 18th of this same month, the Convair also failed to fulfill its flight to Funafuti when it faced the same problem.
Convair arrived in Funafuti this afternoon to bring in and also to take passengers who were supposed to travel yesterday from and to Suva, Fiji.
Mr Taafaki also revealed there will be no more flights into the country until the 8th of next month.
