Convair could not make it to Funafuti on Monday

About 15 passengers were not able to get to Fiji on Monday’s flight of the Convair.
Tuvalu news has learnt that amongst the passengers awaiting airlift to Funafuti was Tuvalu's Prime Minister who was returning from Taiwan.
The Convair was not able to make its flight to Funafuti because of mechanical problems. However it did arrive in Funafuti at half past seven yesterday morning instead.
