The Fiji Junior School Certificate examination results were released to the Tuvalu public last night.
News from the Education Department stated 141 students sat the exam last year.
86 of them passed the exam, 23 are being given the chance to repeat their fourth form at the school, and 32 were not successful.
Reports say that unlike former years when successful students’ grades were read out or published, the practice has changed because the Fiji education department does not want to label each child and compare them with each other.
Tuvalu news is aware that students who sat all external examination are now ready to make plans for this school year as all results are out.
Pacific Secondary School Certificate PSSC results will not be read out over the radio but parents of these students are required to collect their children’s reports from the education department during working hours.
