Home Affairs ministry departments submit workplans

Departments within the ministry of Home Affairs have submitted their work plans for the first quarter of the year.
Acting secretary for the ministry Fanoanoaga Patolo told Tuvalu news the workplans of 7 departments were due on Monday this week.
He said these plans assist in the evaluation of the progress of each department.
The next step is where the Minister, Ag. Secretary and Assistant Secretary of the ministry will look at each department’s workplan and evaluate the department’s capability in implementing the activities set out in the plans.
Patolo said this is a very important tool that measures the progress of each department in the first three months of the year.
Tuvalu news knows that the Minister is still away at the moment, and Patolo says they will sit down to examine the workplans once the Hon. Minister is back.
