Students to register for Motufoua

Students and parents of students who are to study in Motufoua Secondary School next year except those in Vaitupu are needed to register their names at the appropriate places.
An official from the Education department said that so far very few students have registered their names.
He said it is required for all students old and new, from Nanumea to Niulakita to register their names for the marine plans for its ships’ voyages.
Tuvalu news understands that the school year will start on the 22nd of January and the marine department needs to plan the 2 vessels’ voyages to get all students to Vaitupu before school starts.
The department urges students and parents to be prompt about registering their names at their island Kaupule or the Education headquarters for those on Funafuti.
