TAS fundraises for PG 2007

The Tuvalu Association of Sports (TAS) looks to the Tuvalu general public for funding assistance for its team of athletes that will be representing the nation at the 2007 Pacific Games in Samoa.
Nakibae Kitiseni from the TAS told Tuvalu news the Association is holding a dance this Friday night January 12th at the Lucky Set Club, in aide of Tuvalu team to the Games later on this year.
Kitiseni said the night will be special as there will be giveaways of spirits throughout the duration of the dance, which are donated by government officials to show their support for the cause.
Tuvalu news discovered that the money will go towards airfares, uniforms and other necessary accompaniments for the athletes and the team as a whole.
Kitiseni would like to call on all sports Federations and all club members to come together and to also bring a friend to the dance and help raise money for Team Tuvalu.
