First Tuvaluan student to win award

Sunema Simati is the first Tuvaluan to win the New Zealand Development Scholarship for the open category.
Mrs Simati will undertake her master Programme at Massey University in Palmerston North, New Zealand.
This is the second year for the scheme to be offered to Tuvalu and Tuvalu news learnt that last year no one applied for the scheme.
The New Zealand Aid Coordinator Pasimeta Talaapa wishes to encourage those who wish to apply for Post Graduates to utilise the opportunities offered in the scheme.
