MV Manufolau makes a special trip to take ENT patients back to their homes

Nearly seventy patients have made their way back to their homeislands in the Central part of the Group, on Mv Manufolau yesterday.
The MV Manufolau made this special run to the central islands yesterday to drop off patients who came to the capital under the Ministry of Health.
They include referral cases and patients who came specifically for the Ear Nose and Throat ENT team from Australia.
Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Transport Isaia Taape says, the Ministry arranged for the special trip upon request from the Ministry of Health.
Clerk in the Princess Margaret Hospital Lausei Mavelo confirmed that sixty eight patients will be returned by the Manufolau to their home islands in the Central.
Their stay on the capital was fully met by the Ministry of Health. The Manufolau was expected to leave yesterday afternoon.
Tuvalu news learnt that patients and referal cases for the Southern Islands the capital on Tuesday on the Mv Nivaga Lua.
The ENT Team flew to Fiji on Tuesday this week.
